Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to garudagames.net. By creating an account or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use Garuda Games

You need to be at least 13 years old. If you're in a country where the minimum digital age of consent is higher (for example 16 in parts of the EU), meet that age instead. You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws where you live.

2. Your account

• One account per person. Don't create accounts on behalf of other people without their knowledge.
• Keep your password private. If you suspect someone else has access, change your password and revoke your other sessions from the dashboard immediately.
• Admins may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or the club's Code of Conduct, particularly for cheating, harassment, or impersonation.

3. Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• Submit false tournament results or forged documents.
• Impersonate another member, a judge, an admin, or any official body.
• Upload malicious content, attempt to break or probe the site's security, or scrape member data at scale.
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other members.
• Use the site in a way that violates the laws of your country or the Philippines.

4. Content you submit

You keep ownership of anything you submit (tournament posters, certificates, profile photos). By submitting it you grant Garuda Games a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and moderate that content on the site. You can withdraw this license for any given item by deleting it or by deleting your account.

Don't submit content you don't have the right to share. Garuda Games may remove anything that infringes someone else's rights.

5. Verification and moderation

Submissions (accomplishments, Judge/Pro flags) are reviewed by volunteer verifiers and admins. Decisions are recorded in an audit log. A rejected submission isn't a personal judgment — it usually means the documentation needs more detail. You can re-submit.

6. Availability

Garuda Games is provided on an "as is" basis by volunteers. We do our best to keep it up, but we don't promise the site will be error-free or continuously available.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, the Code of Conduct, or the law. Where practical we'll give you a chance to respond before doing so.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garuda Games and its volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the site. Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes

We'll post any material change to these terms on the News page at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the site after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
